IB Maths AA SL Tutoring
I help IB Maths AA SL students around the world improve their results and feel more confident in tests and exams. Lessons are one-to-one, online, and shaped around each student, with a strong focus on the problem-solving skills that count when it matters most.
My teaching is calm and structured. The aim is for students to feel in control of the subject and ready for whatever an exam puts in front of them, rather than anxious about it.
How I Help
Plenty of students understand the content but still struggle when it comes to the exam, whether that's from pressure, second-guessing, or just not knowing where to start. Often they're not far off their potential, they just need a clearer way through.
In lessons we work through:
Breaking exam questions down step by step
Past-paper and exam-style practice
Spotting the common mistakes and patterns that cost marks
Tightening up the fundamentals where there are gaps
Alongside the Maths, we work on staying calm and methodical under time pressure, which is usually what separates a student who knows the content from one who can actually show it in an exam.
